Fond Du Lac Man Hit by Boat Propeller While Tubing

On Sunday June 12, 2016 at 3:42pm Fond du Lac Fire/Rescue responded from Walleye Weekend patrol to the Fond du Lac Sheriff’s Office boat for transport approximately ½ mile north of Lakeside Park for a man that was hit by the propeller from the boat while tubing. The paramedics assessed and treated the patient while en-route back to Lakeside Park where additional Fond du Lac Fire/Rescue personnel were waiting to assist with further treatment and transport.

Flight For Life was called to the east softball diamond of the park where crews transported the man via ambulance to make the exchange for further treatment and transport. The patient was flown to Theda Clark Medical Center for further evaluation and treatment. Fond du Lac Sheriff’s Office and Fond du Lac Police Department assisted with the call.
