Fond du Lac firefighters rescue woman from Lake Winnebago

FOND DU LAC, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Fond du Lac firefighters rescued a woman from Lake Winnebago on Friday.

It happened shortly before 2 p.m. on Frazier Drive.

Crews were called out for a report of a vehicle in the water. Upon arrival, firefighters located a sports utility vehicle in Lake Winnebago, a short distance from the shore.

A woman was found in the vehicle, rescued, treated, and taken to a local hospital.

There's currently no word on how the woman ended up in the water.
