Flooding in Port Washington closes Interstate 43

I-43 southbound at County Highway H is closed due to flash flooding. Problems first began to arise around 7:00 a.m. Thursday, when heavy morning thunderstorms caused flooding. Traffic is being directed off the interstate at Exit 100. The Ozaukee County Sheriff's Office asks drivers heading southbound to exit at CTH D in Belgium and continue on CTH LL. Vehicles can re-enter I-43S at CTH H.
