Flight for Life Called After a Shooting in Union Grove

VILLAGE OF UNION GROVE - One man is injured following an overnight shooting in the Village of Union Grove.

Deputies for the Racine County Sheriff's Office responded to an apartment in the 1400 block of West Street for a rescue call shortly after midnight. They were told that there was a male who was shot in the stomach by a female.

Upon arrival, deputies secured the scene. The male was transported by flight for life to Froedtert hospital. His condition is currently unknown.

All of the parties involved are cooperating with the ongoing investigation.
