Five people injured in Milwaukee neighborhood shootout

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police confirm five people were shot near 24th and Locust.


According to police residents of one home were involved in an altercation with residents at another home last night. Today, the residents in both homes were involved in a shootout. Police say they found 36 shell casings on the ground.


Police say children were inside the homes near this neighborhood shootout.


No one was killed in this shooting. Three women and two men were injured and are all being treated at Froedtert Hospital. One of those women are in critical condition after her femeral artery was hit by a bullet.
