Life of Herb Kohl celebrated during memorial at Fiserv Forum

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Friday afternoon, the life of former U.S. Senator and Milwaukee Bucks owner Herb Kohl was celebrated during a public memorial.

The event took place at Fiserv Forum, the creation of which Kohl played a key role, contributing $100 million to the project.

The community is invited to make memorial donations to the LaFollette School of Public Affairs, Milwaukee Jewish Federation and Wisconsin Teachers' Classroom Projects.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Fiserv Forum will be the setting for a public memorial for the late Herb Kohl. The former U.S. senator and Milwaukee Bucks owner died last week at the age of 88.

The memorial will be held next Friday, Jan. 12 at the home of the Bucks.

It will start at noon, and fans who want to pay their respects are asked to enter through the main atrium of Fiserv Forum, located off Herb Kohl Way. 

Anyone who wants to make a donation in tribute to Herb Kohl is asked to contribute to the LaFollette School of Public Affairs, the Milwaukee Jewish Federation or the Wisconsin Teachers' Classroom Projects.
