Updated: Saturday August 6th 11:15am:
It's heating up quick out there this morning with many spots already feeling like the low to mid 90s!

Heat indices will likely rise to around 100 degrees this afternoon with the best chance being in counties along and south of I-94. A Heat Advisory has been issued for those areas through 7pm this evening.

Limit your time outdoors, check on those without A/C, and stay hydrated! List of Milwaukee area cooling centers if you don't have A/C: Cooling Sites (milwaukee.gov)

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--If there was any doubt it's August, just step outside on Saturday. You'll feel the air's heaviness with lots of heat and humidity. Dog Days of Summer for sure! Highs will be in the 90s with heat indices near 100 in some places. Please take it easy when you're outside. Find the A/C and water as best you can! Keep in mind we'll have poor air quality as well.
The rain chances increase overnight into Sunday as a cold front gets closer. Some of the rain could be heavy. We'll see the storm activity continue, on and off, through Monday morning. Otherwise look for quiet weather much of this coming week with highs in the 70s and 80s.
