First Stage announces a return to live performances in 2021/22 season

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- First Stage announced its return to live theater performances in the 2021/2022 season on Monday, Sept. 20.

The full 35th season will kick off in November at the Marcus Center's Todd Wehr Theater with holiday favorite, A CHARLIE BROWN CHRISTMAS.

Officials also announced that with the start of the New Year, First Stage audiences can see THE WATSONS GO TO BIRMINGHAM - 1963, followed by THE LEGEND OF ROC K, PAPER, SCISSORS, in the spring. The mainstage season will conclude with THE AMAZING LEMONADE GIRL.

Single tickets to First Stage's 2021/22 season will go on sale Oct. 4. 

Officials say in accordance with Marcus Center for Performing Arts policies, upon entrance to performances, patrons ages 12 and up will be required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination or proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of their performances. Audiences under the age of 12 will not need to show proof of negative COVID-19 test.
