Fire causes $2 million in damage to Juneau County lumber mill

LYNDON STATION, Wis. (WISC) -- A fire at a Lyndon Station lumber mill caused roughly $2 million in damage and left one firefighter injured Sunday morning, Lyndon Station Fire Department Chief Larry Whaley said.

Firefighters responded to Stan's Industrial Woodwork at 251 Industrial Ave. at around 7 a.m. for reports of a structure fire.

Sixty-six firefighters from nine different agencies fought the massive blaze for 10 hours, Whaley said, with one firefighter suffering minor injuries.

As of Sunday Evening, investigators are still looking into what caused the fire, Whaley said.
