Crews fight fire at Palmyra lumber company in frigid temps

PALMYRA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A fire at Anich Lumber in Palmyra brought in crews from multiple agencies late Monday night, Jan. 19, into early Tuesday morning, according to Palmyra Fire Rescue.
The fire department received a call about a possible shed fire on 3rd Street that turned out to be the lumber company. Crews requested mutual aid from surrounding departments and a strike team of water tankers from Dane County.
Crews were dispatched to the scene around 11:48 p.m.; fire officials say the blaze was fully extinguished about 12 hours later.
No injuries were reported despite freezing temperatures and hazardous conditions.
