BROWN COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Two women were taken into custody Thursday, according to the Brown County Sheriff's Office, after attempting to cash a fraudulent check at a De Pere, WI bank.
Bank employees knew the activity to be consistent with the Felony Lane Gang, and quickly notified police.
Suspects Anjelica Marie Marsala, 26, and accomplice, Ashley Marie Blevins, 24, were taken into custody.
Police say search warrants on the suspect vehicle resulted in the recovery of 29 different style wigs used by FLG members to disguise their appearances.
The Felony Lane Gang consists of organized burglary and identity theft rings that originate in South Florida, according to the FBI. They allegedly operate in multiple places throughout the U.S.
Marsala and Blevins were reportedly brought to Wisconsin by FLG organizers from Florida.
