Felon arrested for gun, marijuana possession in Mount Pleasant

MOUNT PLEASANT, Wis. (CBS 58) – Authorities arrested a man after learning he was a felon and discovering a gun and marijuana in his car early Wednesday morning.

According to Mount Pleasant Police, a car was stopped around 2:19 a.m. near State Highway 31 and Graceland Blvd. Officers said the driver was acting nervous. They learned the 20-year-old was a felon and discovered a loaded handgun and marijuana in his car.

The driver was arrested and taken into custody. He faces several charges.

The incident remains under investigation.
