Father believes child may have suffocated in Milwaukee home

Milwaukee-- The father of a 5 month old baby who died at a home on N. Palmer in Milwaukee believes she may have suffocated, Friday.

Mark Rainwater said he wasn't home at the time but he was told little Mikayla Rose was in a bed by herself and her mother and another daughter were in the kitchen.

\"She went to check on her to make sure she was okay and she noticed her arm was really purple that's when she called police,\" he said.

Rainwater said they recently moved into the home and haven't set everything up yet, including the child's crib.

The medical examiner's office will determine the cause of death.
