Fatal Crash Occurs in Lake Geneva on Main Street

A three car accident on Main Street in the city of Lake Geneva ended in one fatality on Tuesday, according to the Lake Geneva Police Chief.

Officers were dispatched to Main Street west of Elmwood Avenue at 4:14 PM for a reported vehicle crash. 

Upon arrival, officers observed three vehicles involved in the crash, one of which sustained severe driver side damage.  The occupant of that vehicle was transported from the scene and was pronounced dead at a short time later at Mercy-Walworth Medical Center.  The drivers of the other two vehicles were not injured.

The cause of the crash is yet to be determined but weather is believed to be a contributing factor.  Identifying information of the victim is being withheld until family is notified.  

The City of Lake Geneva Police Department was assisted by the Lake Geneva Fire and EMS Departments and the Wisconsin State Patrol.
