The family of a West Allis boy who was seriously burned in a playground slide explosion says they're still waiting to hear how it happened.
The mother released several photos of her 9-year-old boy to CBS 58 News and says since the mayor spoke on Friday, they've heard nothing new.
The boy received the burns on the slide in Reservoir Park on Wednesday night.
He's currently at home recovering.
Police say there was no evidence of foul play in this incident but the family is left wondering how a playground slide just explodes.
