MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- It's almost curtain call for the members of First Stage with a new musical kicking off their season in Milwaukee.
First Stage is kicking off their 2022-23 season with a fun, family-friendly musical based on the famed Arthur series. The show is titled "Arthur & Friends Make a Musical" and will open at the Marcus Center's Todd Wehr Theater on Friday, Oct. 7.
Playwright John Maclay, who developed the book and lyrics for the show, joined us on Thursday, Sept. 29 to discuss this adventure for Arthur and his friends. Performances take place from Oct. 7 - Nov. 6.
