Gov. Evers delivers message focused on mental health around holiday season
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- With the holiday season in full force, our governor is reminding us not to neglect our mental health.
Governor Tony Evers and First Lady Kathy Evers delivered a message focused on mental health.
Evers made 2023 the "Year of Mental Health" and on Friday, Nov. 24, they wanted to remind people to "take good care of yourselves, your mental health, and each other."
"While the holidays can be a happy time for some, we know this season—and the expectations surrounding it—can also cause people to feel more stress, anxiety, loneliness, and grief," said Evers.
If you or anyone you know is struggling with mental health, don't be afraid to ask for help.
