Estrada allows three more HR, bullpen melts down in 13-4 loss
MILWAUKEE - Marco Estrada extended his major-league leading total of home runs allowed to 23, allowing three to the Cincinnati Reds in a 13-4 loss Sunday at Miller Park.
Billy Hamilton started the game with a solo homer off Estrada, and Brandon Phillips followed with a two-run homer in the same inning. Estrada had an RBI single in the fourth, and Scooter Gennett immediately followed with a 2-run double that tied the game at 3.
Jonathan Lucroy homered in the fifth to cut the Reds lead to 5-4, a score which stood until a bullpen collapse in the eighth. Rob Wooten allowed six straight singles in a five-run eighth, and Wei-Chung Wang allowed three more runs in the ninth.
The Brewers head to Arizona and Colorado in the week ahead before coming back to Miller Park June 23rd.
