Erin's big heart

9 year old Erin is passionate about giving back.

Each year the Milwaukee girl picks a shelter with women and children to celebrate them on her birthday.

In 2014 Erin turned 9 years old and wanted to give back to people who were less fortunate than she was.

With  the help of her parents, she raised over $1,500.00 and provided an all-inclusive cosmic birthday event for a local Milwaukee shelter.

The attendance at this event was close to 100 people.

She was so excited about how appreciative and grateful the shelter was that she has decided to make this an annual event.

So she is currently looking to work with the same shelter that can house 100 women and their children and provide them an all-inclusive carnival.

Since Erin is only 9 years old she asked for some time on the CBS 58 News at 4 p.m. to help make this year's event a success.

She's asking for money, donations, sponsorship, and volunteers.
