November starting off on a cool, showery note
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--The weather pattern this coming week will be on the active side, especially by the middle of the week. In the meantime, look for quiet weather Sunday into Presidents Day Monday. At night on Monday, a quick moving weather system will give us a chance of light snow, mainly north of I-94. But even in the metro we can't rule out a bit of rain/snow mix either. Highs go from the 40s on Sunday to the 30s for most of the period.
This all moves out by Fat Tuesday but then we wait for the bigger weather maker for the middle of the week. This one promises to be a bit more potent featuring a lot of wintry elements, including freezing rain and sleet with the snow. The exact track and timing still not known. Obviously the CBS 58 Ready Weather team will keep you updated on the progression of this particular forecast. Then it looks like more snow with colder air Friday later in the day into Saturday. So, still lots of winter to impact us all in the coming week.
