Summer Gallery Night MKE returns this weekend with 50+ art venues
(BURLINGTON) – Rising budgets, higher training standard and fewer volunteers are taking a toll on small and rural fire and ambulance services. In Burlington, the city’s historic rescue squad recently announced it would be disbanding at the close of 2019. The squad represents one of the few remaining volunteer emergency services units in Wisconsin.
On CBS 58 Sunday Morning, Brendan Cullerton took a look back on this bygone era of rural American communities.
