Enchantment in the Park to light up West Bend with festive cheer
WEST BEND, Wis. (CBS 58) -- West Bend is preparing to transform into a festive wonderland with the return of the Enchantment in the Park holiday light show. The display, featuring over a million LED and RGB lights, will illuminate Regner Park from Nov. 24 through Christmas Eve.
2023 marks the event's 15th anniversary.
The light show stretches over a mile, creating a journey through dancing light arches, twinkling pines and larger-than-life holiday scenes. Visitors will also find live entertainment, visits with Santa Claus, horse and carriage rides and hot chocolate, all set against the backdrop of the vibrant light display.
According to a Tuesday, Nov. 14 press release, over 700 volunteers have dedicated more than 4,600 hours to bring this spectacle to life.
A new addition this year is the Reindeer Run/Walk, scheduled for 4:30 p.m. on Dec. 9. This event offers a unique opportunity to experience the light show on foot, weaving through the glowing displays at a leisurely pace.
The West Bend Sunrise Rotary Club suggests a $10 donation or a bag of nonperishable food donation, benefiting local organizations and food pantries.
