Emotional Scene at Double Shooting

The shooting happened before noon on Wednesday inside a home near 51st and Capitol.

Police said a 24-year-old man was shot and killed and a 27-year-old woman shot and severely hurt.

There was an emotional scene earlier this afternoon, police tape up, flashing lights, and family members and friends screaming out for loved one they lost.

This scene such a painful display and the emotions are similar to what several Milwaukee families have experienced in the last few days.

Milwaukee Police Department tells us this is the sixth Murder in Milwaukee since Monday.

Police are looking for suspects, and trying to figure their motive here.

There is a private elementary school right across the street from Wednesday's shooting.

The assistant principal here tells the school was put in a soft lockdown.

They let parents know, and tonight's events are cancelled.
