Marquette super freshman Henry Ellenson reached a career high with 32 points in the Golden Eagles' 75-69 win over Butler Saturday at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.
Ellenson hit eight of his 14 shots and added 10 rebounds and a career-high six blocks as MU won for the 15th time this season. The Golden Eagles are one win away from getting to .500 in conference play (currently 4-5), and they'll look to even up their Big East mark at Seton Hall Wednesday.
Ellenson's 32 points was the most by an MU freshman since Dwyane Wade scored 35 against DePaul in the 2001-02 season.
