Early morning fire in Waterford

Firefighters from Waterford and surrounding communities battled an early morning blaze just west of Waterford.  The 2 alarm fire was reported in the 3400 block of Hill Valley Drive around 2 a.m.  The fire was confined to a barn on the property and is considered a total loss.  Crews worked through the early morning hours to keep an external propane tank cool and keep it from catching fire.  There were no injuries reported and the barn did not contain any animals.
