EAA AirVenture returns to Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh

OSHKOSH, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Witman Regional in Oshkosh is once again one of the world's busiest places this week.

The Experimental Aircraft Association's (EAA) unique and popular "AirVenture" is back. Last year's event was canceled due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Planes of all shapes and sizes will fly in this week, including the Orbis Flying Eye Hospital. The plane carries doctors around the world to perform sight-saving eye procedures.

There are daily air shows.

Young people ages 18-years-old and under get in free.

AirVenture started Monday, July 27 and runs through Sunday.
