During Large Fight Racine Teenager Allegedly Pepper Sprays Herself

A Racine teenager allegedly pepper sprayed herself during a large fight in Racine on Thursday.

According to the criminal complaint the incident occurred on Thursday at 12:55 AM.

Police were called to 1108 N. Memorial Drive in regards to a fight and possibly a person with a gun.

There were 20 people engaged in yelling and throwing items.

One teenager threw a bottle into the crow that was believed to be gasoline, but the officer could not confirm that.

When the officer attempted to arrest her she became combative and used profanity.

The teenager claimed she had been pepper sprayed, but ten individuals at the scene said she had brought the pepper spray. According to the witnesses, she attempted to use it on another individual, she held the canister backwards and consequently sprayed himself.
