Monday was a gloomy, rainy day with showers rolling through southeast Wisconsin from the morning through late afternoon hours. We didn't see many areas of heavy rain or thunderstorms but a steady light rain added up in many hometowns. Most rain totals ranged from 0.25-0.75" in the local area.
Even after a soaking rain, we are still below-average on precipitation for the month of May down about three tenths of an inch. We are also now below-average for the spring season since March 1st by a tenth of an inch but still well above-average on precipitation for the 2023 year.
Even though we have some fog Tuesday morning we will stay all dry both Tuesday and Wednesday. The next chance for some rain arrives Thursday evening/night with better chances for rain Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
