MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A Milwaukee boy is now recovering from serious injuries after being hit by a car.
The 8-year-old, King Hogan, was hit near 35th and Scott on Tuesday, Oct. 14, just before 4 p.m.
Now, his mother, Mildred Boyd, is looking for answers. "I just want justice for my son," Boyd says.
Boyd says her oldest child called her to tell her about the crash while she was at work.
MPD tells us the driver fled the scene.
Boyd says her son has several broken bones in his face and needs surgery.
"Has broke his upper and bottom jawbone, top and the bottom, he lost five of his adult teeth, his gums are fractured and as of today, he is going through surgery," Boyd says.
A GoFundMe has been started for King. You can find it here.
Anyone with information about the driver who hit King is asked to contact police, or to remain anonymous, call Milwaukee Crime Stoppers at 414-224-TIPS.
