WAUKESHA COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- State Patrol says a driver has died after a crash on I-94 near Pewaukee Monday, Dec. 8. 

Authorities responded to the crash on westbound I-94 near Springdale Road around 9:38 a.m., according to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.

They say an investigation indicated a vehicle traveling westbound rear-ended a Waukesha County Highway Department snowplow truck that was performing snow removal. The driver of the striking vehicle was taken to an area hospital where they died of their injuries. 

State Patrol continues to investigation the crash.
