CUDAHY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A 19-year-old man has been taken into custody for a hit-and-run.
Cudahy Police were called to the 4900 block of S. Lake Drive around 4:48 p.m. on Wednesday for a report of a pedestrian hit by a car.
Upon arrival, officers located an injured 13-year-old girl. She was taken to a local hospital.
Officers learned that the driver of the striking vehicle fled the scene northbound on Lake Drive.
The suspect turned himself into police later that evening.
The case remains under investigation.
