Drink A Brewski with The Milwaukee Beer Barons at Forest Home Cemetery

A special first time event at Forest Home Cemetery this weekend will have Milwaukee "Beer Royalty" come alive. It's called "Brunch with The Barons."

Many of those who started beer companies back in the 1800s right here in Milwaukee are actually buried on site, like Valentine Blatz, Joseph Schlitz, and Captain Frederick Pabst. The event allows you to hear stories of some of these people either through actual family members or reenactments. Our Michael Schlesinger got a sneak peek of the walking tour during the morning show.

One of the highlights is the Blatz Mausoleum.  It'll be open to the public. Something that rarely happens.

"Brunch with the Barons" takes place this Saturday from 10 to 2.  It costs $10.  Click on the attached link to find out where you can purchase tickets. Proceeds from the event will go toward the cemetery, Pabst Mansion, and Milwaukee County Historical Society.
