DPW refocuses efforts from snow cleanup to leaf collection

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Department of Public Works (DPW) says they are resuming leaf collection after last weekend's snowstorm impacted the service.

DPW says they are focusing on large leaf piles in the street - not small piles pushed to the curb or compressed leaves.

Residents are able to report large piles of leaves to DPW to make sure they aren't missed. DPW is accepting requests starting Monday, Dec. 8.

You can contact them by calling (414) 286-2489 or place a request online which can be found on their website here.
