DPW Brings in 12 Private Contractors to Assist the 96 City Salt Trucks

Department of Public Works has prepared for Monday night's snow fall with 108 salt trucks getting ready to hit the streets. 

As of 4:00 p.m., DPW has 96 salt trucks on standby for Monday night, with an additional 12 salt trucks (private contractors) joining the complement at 6:00 p.m. 

There is still salt residue from Saturday’s operation on City streets, according to Department of Public Works
