Usinger’s continues their family tradition of sausage success
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Nearly a dozen individuals and groups representing law enforcement and community organizations in Milwaukee were honored during Wednesday's 71st annual Crime Prevention Awards.
The event recognizes a collective vision for safe and vibrant communities by working together.
"Our focus is really being able to shine a spotlight on those law enforcement partners with MPD and the Sheriff's Department who are really doing the work to create those safe neighborhoods," said Interim Executive Director Bridget Robinson. "It's a great opportunity to bring residents and law enforcement in the same room to be able to recognize that partnership is important."
The luncheon was sponsored by AAA Wisconsin and Salvation Army of Milwaukee County.
