Milwaukee (CBS 58)--A local watering hole provides a unique backdrop for an event you’d expect to find anywhere else but a bar. Between 7 and 9 Monday evening, "Hosed on Brady” on Milwaukee’s east side and “Awesome Paws Academy” will host a question and answer session for dog owners looking to get a handle on their unruly pets.
Behavioral consultant Julie Westphal will be on tap to lead the gathering. Her obedience training focuses on “force and fear free
" techniques. This method stresses on focusing the positive and giving rewards. The hope is your animal will forget about all the naughty things you think they're doing. And in turn, they'll want to please you more and more.
For a ten dollar donation you get a complimentary second drink. And again you’re asked to only bring a few questions for the dog trainer. But please leave your pet at home.
