Dodge County sheriff: 67-year-old man run over by tractor, seriously hurt

DODGE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A 67-year-old man suffered serious injuries after being run over by a tractor in Dodge County. 

According to the Dodge County Sheriff's Office, it happened just before 12 p.m. on Monday, May 9, on County Highway J in the town of Clyman. 

Officials say the man was starting a tractor that he was working on while it was in gear. It began moving and immediately ran the man over. 

The tractor drove through a wall of a machine shed before it struck a tree and wedged up against it.

Flight for Life transported the man to Aurora Summit. 

CLR Fire Department and First Responders, Watertown Fire Department Paramedics, Juneau EMS, Dodge County Emergency Management and Flight for Life responded to assist with this incident.
