MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A new documentary titled "Love Differently" highlights Diana Higgenbottom Anagnostopoulos's adoption story and her struggles within the Wisconsin state system.
Diana found her birth family in Greece in her 40s. Although her birth father, Ted, passed away before learning of her existence, Diana was legally adopted by his wife, Angie, in 2021 and warmly welcomed by the Anagnostopoulos family.
"Love Differently" will be screened Wednesday, June 5 at 7 p.m. at Marcus Renaissance Cinema in Sturtevant. The film won an award at the 2024 Door County Film Festival.
Diana, an adoption advocate, joined us on Wednesday, June 5 to share her story and discuss the film.
