DOC employee fired after Morgan Geyser's escape from group home

Waukesha County Sheriff\'s Office WAUKESHA COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Morgan Geyser, who gained notoriety for her involvement in the 2014 Slender Man stabbing in Waukesha, escaped her Madison group home in November after cutting off her ankle monitor.
We learned last month that three Department of Corrections employees were placed on administrative leave while the incident was under investigation.
We now know that two of those employees served short, unpaid suspensions and have since returned to work.
The third employee was fired from the department.
Geyser was found and arrested roughly 24 hours after her escape.
She's due back in court Feb. 16.
