DNR investigating boat collision that severely injured 2 people on Lake Michigan

SHEBOYGAN (CBS 58) -- Two boaters are seriously injured after their boat collided with a pier on Lake Michigan Wednesday night.
It happened around 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 25 at the north Sheboygan pier.
According to the Sheboygan County Sheriff's Office, a boat with two occupants collided into the north Sheboygan pier and no other people or boats were involved.
The boaters were severely injured and transported to local medical facilities.
The Department of Natural Resources is leading the investigation.
