'DinoDomes' roars into Mitchell Park Domes, offering a journey to the Jurassic 🦖

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A glimpse into the Jurassic era is on the horizon for Milwaukee.

The Mitchell Park Domes will be unveiling "DinoDomes," an immersive prehistoric exhibit featuring a selection of dinosaurs amid a backdrop of vibrant flora, including hibiscuses, petunias, begonias and celosias, with ginkgo biloba trees and sago palms reppresenting some of the plants that fed herbivorous dinosaurs.

The exhibit will open on Saturday, June 10. Visitors are welcome Monday, Wednesday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The domes will remain closed on Tuesdays. Last admission will be granted an hour before the listed closing time.

Adult admission for Milwaukee County residents is $8, while non-residents pay $9. Junior tickets for children ages 3 to 12, and senior tickets for those aged 60 and above, are priced at $6. Admission for children under two years is free.
