Fog has been developing throughout the evening as the main area of rain pushed east. As of 9:30pm, the most dense fog is in south central WI, but visibility is dropping quickly in areas of SE WI that are no longer seeing rain.
Locations well inland will likely see visibility drop to a quarter to half mile overnight into early Sunday morning. A Dense Fog Advisory has been issued for Dodge and Jefferson counties through 6am Sunday. More counties may be added to this advisory overnight.
Most of southeast Wisconsin picked up .10-.25" of rain today with only a few lingering light showers out there.
Isolated showers will mix with the drizzle and fog overnight but will likely dissipate after 9am Sunday. Dry weather is expected Sunday afternoon with temps still above normal in the mid 40s.
A strong cold front moves through Sunday night, bringing a few snow showers through the area early Monday morning.
While only a few slick spots are possible, the bigger shock to the system will be our first shot of cold air this month. Wind chills will be in the single digits to mid teens all day Monday as northwest winds gust between 30-40 mph.
This cold snap only lasts for 24 hours as temps rebound to seasonal normals Tuesday then back into the 40s the rest of the week.
