WASHINGTON COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Black Friday is next week, but November 16 is blaze orange for all the hunters getting ready for a busy 9-day stretch.
Hundreds of hunters descended on the Mills Fleet Farm store in Germantown Friday morning for some last minute buys before venturing into the woods starting at dawn Saturday, November 17.
The retailers' annual "Orange Friday" event started at 6:00 a.m.
Products like hand warmers and propane tanks are just a couple of the essentials. Shoppers say Orange Friday is a pre-opening day of deer season ritual.
There are a few changes with hunting rules and regulations this year. You can find that information here.
