KENOSHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- An arrest has been made in connection to a fatal shooting that happened in Kenosha on Wednesday, Dec. 4. 

Police identified the victim as 42-year-old Marlon Allen of Kenosha.  

The shooting happened in the city's Wilson Height's neighborhood early Wednesday morning. 

Police arrested Eddie Pendleton, a 57-year-old Kenosha man, in connection. He's expected in court Friday, Dec. 6. 

The shooting remains under investigation.

KENOSHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A neighbor in Kenosha was awoken by gunfire Wednesday, Dec. 4.

It happened in the city's Wilson Height's neighborhood. The investigation surrounds an apartment building on 36th and 50th. 

According to neighbors, they heard gunshots.

"Imagine waking up out of your sleep and then you hear gunshots," a neighbor said.

Police were called to the residence around 4:23 a.m. The deceased is an adult male.  

Right now, police are not saying if there's a suspect. People living nearby are worried about safety and want the apartment building to have better security.

"I got two boys and can't even come outside and get in the car. It's just unsafe."

Officials are asking anyone in the area if they have home surveillance video footage around the time of the incident.
