Metzinger, who became Deaf due to an autoimmune disease, expressed gratitude for the experience, saying that Crow is "such a beautiful soul."

"I’ll never give up on music. Never," Metzinger said in a Saturday press release.

Aurora noted in the press release that while Metzinger weas a hearing aid that allows her to hear some sounds and noises, she is working to train her brain to enjoy the things she can no longer hear.
