Deadly Hit & Run: One Man's Kindness May Have Cost Him His Life

Milwaukee Police identified the man who died in a deadly hit and run crash at 14th and Atkinson on Milwaukee's north side on August 6.
Brian Hamilton, a 39-year-old Milwaukee man, was killed after being struck by a vehicle while crossing Atkinson Avenue. Witnesses say the vehicle that hit him was traveling at a high rate of speed. The police report also says the impact carried him 75 feet from where he originally was.
Police say the car involved is a small, dark auto with fully-tinted windows. It was last seen traveling south on 13th Street.
