Days of Action Taking Place in Madison

As state lawmakers take up the final bills of the session on the senate floor today.

Members of an immigrant rights group are in the gallery sending a message about legislation that would affect their lives.  

We are on the second day of what is known as a series of Days of Action, organized by the pro-immigration group Voces de la Frontera.

Right now we are in the assembly hearing room where the group has gathered.

So far a couple dozen people have arrived to the Capitol, a different scene from last month’s day without Latino or immigrants rally

As you may recall yesterday afternoon we were told Bill AB 450 was no longer on the agenda.

But that didn't stop the group from gathering here today. They tell me it's important to them to keep presence at the state Capitol to make sure this bill isn't brought up at all.
