Day of Donations Blood Drive at Southridge Mall

GREENDALE --  The American Red Cross is hoping you're still in the giving mood as the organization hosts its second annual Day of Donations Blood Drive today at Southridge Mall.

Donors are asked to give hospital patients hope today by giving blood between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on the second floor of the mall.

All presenting donors will receive a movie pass from Marcus Theatres, an admission pass to the Milwaukee County Zoo, an all-access, week-long workout pass from Preferred Fitness and a coupon for a pint of ice cream from Cedar crest Ice Cream. Donors will also be entered into a grand-prize drawing for big-ticket prizes.

All blood types are needed, but those with types O negative, A negative, B negative and AB positive and negative are especially encouraged to give.

Donors must bring a driver's license or two other forms of identification and must be 17-years-old or 16 with parental consent, weight at least 110 pounds and be in good health.
