Darrell Brooks pleads not guilty in victim intimidation case

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The suspect in the Waukesha Christmas parade tragedy is pleading not guilty in a different case -- one that involves threatening a victim.

Darrell Brooks is accused of running over the mother of his child weeks before the parade in Waukesha.

He's also charged with trying to intimidate the woman so she wouldn't testify against him.

Brooks waived his preliminary hearing Wednesday, Feb. 9, and is scheduled to appear in Waukesha County Friday on the parade attack charges.
