Milwaukee airport prepares for a busy holiday travel week
WISCONSIN (CBS 58) -- We have new information about one of the feelgood stories of this year -- the new relationship between Milwaukee's Dancing Grannies and the 610 Stompers of New Orleans.
The Stompers invited the Grannies to Mardi Gras in February. And now, the two performing groups are teaming up for the celebration of Independence Day here in the Milwaukee area.
We already knew that the 610 Stompers were coming up for Independence Day. What we found out Friday is that they have a very busy schedule.
Here are the hometowns they plan to visit, starting with Milwaukee's Summerfest parade on June 30:
- Summerfest parade -- 6/30 at 3 p.m.
- West Allis parade -- 7/1 at 10 a.m.
- Franklin parade -- 7/2 at 1 p.m.
- Brewers/Cubs game -- 7/3 at 1:10 p.m.
- Menomonee Falls parade -- 7/3 at 7 p.m.
- Waukesha parade -- 7/4 at 11 a.m.
- Somers parade -- 7/4 at 2 p.m.
